9:09 is Nurture Time – Love: Day 12 – Cultivate Your Strengths

Welcome to day 12 of the 9:09 is Nurture Time challenge!

Yesterday we talked about checking to see what we’ve been cultivating versus what we have not. You have seeds of strength lying dormant, waiting for some light and water. Today we’re going to nurture those buried talents. You have a yearning to make a change in your life. This will help you make a shift.

Interestingly, it starts with an un-doing, by connecting to your being-ness – your true essence. Remove all the doing – the busyness, the tasks, the failures, the hurts, the wounds, the accomplishments, the status symbols, all the things that cause you to question your worth or validate your worth.

This is about being worthy just because you are you – a soul here, today, in this world, with a special contribution to offer to the rest of us.

This contribution requires your unique talents and abilities, and we’re all waiting with excitement and anticipation to see you nurture this part of you.

This being-ness is found in silence, so I will offer you silence. (There are TWO PERIODS of silence in the recording.)

Ready to begin?

First, pause for this moment and totally focus on yourself. Close your eyes. Let all the distractions fall away. Breathe in. Breathe out. Pause to focus on just being versus doing.

Center in on this thought: I am love.

Give yourself a hug, a round of applause and a pat on the back.

If you feel pulled towards silence, I would recommend a practice called Centering Prayer. My friend Kathy Garrett, owner of Kathy Garrett Retreats, introduced me to it. You spend time in silence clearing your mind from interrupting thoughts. Look for an app on your phone or do a quick Google search to find a Centering Prayer group near you.

That’s it for today. Sending you blessings on blessings and big hugs. And I look forward to tomorrow with you, same time, for day twelve of 9:09 is nurture time.
