How to write a simple message of LOVE and SUPPORT in 3 minutes or less
Sometimes it can feel challenging to write a card. You wonder what to say and how to say it. You want to write something that is heartfelt and makes the reader feel good. Panic sets in… but, wait!
Don’t over-complicate it!
We’re going to make it easier to write a card with a simple, 3-step approach:
- Acknowledge what is happening
- Connect your main message to the card
- Write a closing the sentence conveying your love or support
Follow this formula and you’ll be able to easily share your love and support. And the recipient will have the benefit of feeling special and loved!
Below are two examples of cards we really struggle writing. You’ll see how following these three simple steps makes it much easier to write something individualized and heartfelt.
And, these same steps can be followed for situations when you have congratulatory or celebratory messages to write, too!
When I was diagnosed with cancer, a friend sent a note that just said “Big hugs.” It was incredibly meaningful.
And simple.
