Welcome to day 8 of the 9:09 is Nurture Time challenge!
It’s the beginning of week 2 and we’re kicking off with a new step – “plant for pollinators.”
Most plants need pollen from an outside source in order to bloom. It’s the pollinator that performs this role, by bringing pollen from one plant to the other. In other words, we need good stuff to be spread from one to another in order to grow.
During this 21-day challenge, our theme is “love” and we began with the thought “love blooms from within.” Pollination is what makes the blooming happen!
In order to bloom, we need to attract pollinators. And, of course, we can be pollinators, too – by spreading good stuff from one to another to help each other grow.
I’m so grateful for the pollinators in my life! Thank you for spreading the love!

Quick aside – I’m practicing what I preach today and continuing to nurture myself as I recover from a cold. For those of you who prefer to close your eyes and listen, I’ll try to record something tomorrow.
Ready to begin?
First, pause for this moment and totally focus on yourself. Close your eyes. Let all the distractions fall away. Breathe in. Breathe out. Enjoy this moment of indulgence.
Who or what are the pollinators in your life? Think of the influences in your life that keep you feeling good, feeling supported, focused on your purpose, the people who show up with a hug when you’re down or have an encouraging word for you. Take a moment to feel that support and that love.
Center in on the thought: I love all of the pollinators in my life. Give yourself a hug, a round of applause and a pat on the back.
That’s it for today. Sending you blessings on blessings and big hugs. And I look forward to tomorrow with you, same time, for day nine of 9:09 is nurture time.
